Rootstock

 The rootstock is exactly what it sounds like, the base root/stock of the plant.

​

I am currently selling rootstock of

Ann Yellow (50), Boyne (100), Caroline Red (100),

Heritage (100),

Killarney Red (100), and

Nova Red (100).

Types of Plants

We offer a variety of Raspberries, Blackberries and Root stock.

 

They all have different heights, spacing, sun/shade needs

Ann Yellow (Everbearing Raspberry)

Full or part sun

Early summer and late fall berries

Height 3’ - 4’

Spread 3’- 4’

Self propagating 

Does have Thorns

Well drained soil, loam, sand

These berries are large and heavy, they are usually planted in rows and trained with posts and a wire to hold them up.

Fall is the best time to plant raspberries. prune in summer immediately after fruiting. Cut back the tips of everbearers that fruited last fall (top 1/3 of the canes). After the canes are done fruiting in fall, cut back canes.

Propagate from suckers.

Nova Red

Well drained soil, loam, sand

Fall is best time to plant, prune in summer immediately after fruiting. Cut back the tips of everbearers that fruited last fall

Fruit in summer and late fall, produces large flavor-full red raspberries for about 8 weeks in late summer

Heritage ( Everbearing Red Raspberry)

Can eat fresh, freeze make jam

Boyne

Soil - slightly acidic and well drained

Color - red

Uses - freeze, eat fresh, preserve and make pies

Thorns- yes

Self pollinating- yes

Self supporting - yes

They prefer full sun to partial shade

They bear fruit in early summer
