Bare Root Heritage Rasberry Plants. Heritage are red, medium to large berries, they grow in zones 4-8, the berries do well in PH of 6.5 to 6.8,  and well drained soil. Heritage do have thorns, they are self supporting, and self pollinating. The heritage raspberry plants can produce 2 crops per year  by leaving the (primicones) first year canes, and cutting back the 2 year canes. To get a fall only crop, cut all canes when they are done fruiting. For two crops you can get a moderate crop in July and then a heavier crop in Sept. until frost
